We read and read articles, tried fixes (we both are running the same version, using the RAM patch, and we tried deleting the GAMECONSTANTS.XML) but cannot get it to work. There are two likely explanations: 1) You have installed the mod Republic at War and are therefore incompatible with everyone else that does not have the mod, this mod specifically because it is the only mod that installs files into corruption/data and you really aren't told that it is doing that. 2) Select the game in ' Owned games ', click the customization button in the top bar Additional executables. Weve tried GameRanger and the thing that happens with it is that every time we launch the game and get to the lobby, neither of us see each other. The language version will then be downloaded.

To people hitting this question in 2015 from the steam and gog sales. Step 1: Go to your Star Wars: Empire at War Game folder (usually C:Program FilesLucasArtsStar Wars Empire at War). Well, if you are playing now you will have to use gameranger tungle or whatever, if it says your cd key is not autorized (that happened to me) you just need a “new one” you go to execute then regedit then local machine software lucasarts battlefront 2 1.0 and then u will see some values one is your cd key, u will realize wich one is then just edit it and change something, you have a “new” cd key than will be autorized I just bought Star Wars Battlefront 2 from Steam and when i play multiplayer it says Your CD-Key is not authorized
